TEACHING

I have been working with educational establishments since 1998 and my experience varies from teaching pre-school through college level students including gifted education with an extensive experience in curricula development.

My work with all the students’ levels has been an attempt at showing students how to explore new media forms such as interactive robotic art and digital art as a mean to integrate traditional art practice. My teaching philosophy is about developing a strong creative process towards an interdisciplinary art practice and my teaching style inspires passion for lifelong learning by encouraging real life experiences to my students. My students have shown their work at the Tech Museum in San Jose through out a Zero1 Youth grant, they have also shown their work at the Maker Faire and we have collaborated with Alligator planet and with Zero Gravity Arts consortium.

Classes that I teach include, foundation arts, robotics, experimental/Interactive art, mixed media, Australian aboriginal art, animation, space arts, photography, art appreciation, video art and animation among other classes.
